Meet Nicki and Steve
Several years ago we made the decision to both leave our careers in Engineering and Marketing because we wanted to get out from behind a desk and use our talents and creativity in a more physical way that also allowed us to own our time and call the shots in life. After having lived in a few different countries, our journey brought us to the U.S. where we bought a true fixer-upper in every sense of the word (picture a whole tree growing through the deck, a 330sqft extension that was just studs and subfloor but soon became our brand new kitchen, pantry, mudroom and bathroom, orange and purple walls, and a bathroom with 4 layers of flooring...yes, 4). Even though we knew nothing about home design or renovation when we signed on the dotted line, we knew we had what it took to figure it out!
That one wild "yes" lead to us finding our natural path as a team in home renovation and design and completing several other homes over the course of the next 10 years. A typical day during a home renovation project usually involves Nicki singing loudly and dancing her way through a job while Steve charms everyone with his British accent and sense of humor!
